Ingredients
  

Cocktail Ingredients
  • 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed frozen for a slushy texture
  • 1 cup tequila preferably silver
  • 1/2 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice for blending
  • salt for rimming glasses optional
  • lime wedges for garnish optional

Method
 

Prepare the Glasses
  1. If desired, rim the glasses with lime juice and dip them in salt to coat the rim.
Blend the Ingredients
  1. In a blender, combine the frozen watermelon, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, agave syrup, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth and slushy.
Serve
  1. Pour the watermelon margarita mixture into the prepared glasses.
  2. Garnish with lime wedges if desired.

Notes
