  • 4 cups Water or Soda Water Use water for a classic mix or soda water for a fizzy twist.
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Use plenty of ice for chilling.
  • Lime Wedges and Salt Garnish with lime wedges and salt on the rim.

Preparation
  1. Gather your ingredients: Measure out 2 cups of tequila, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, and 1 cup of orange liqueur.
  2. Mix the base: In a large pitcher, combine the tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur. Stir gently until well integrated.
  3. Add sweetness: If desired, add 1/2 cup of agave syrup and stir until dissolved.
  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  5. Prepare your glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rim and dip in coarse salt.
  6. Garnish and enjoy: Pour margaritas into prepared glasses filled with ice and garnish with lime slices.
