  • 1 cup Long-Grain White Rice Opt for high-quality rice for better flavor extraction.
  • 1 cup Raw Almonds Select fresh, unsalted almonds for a rich nutty taste.
  • 4 cups Water Filtered water is best.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Choose pure vanilla extract for authenticity.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Use Ceylon cinnamon for a sweeter flavor.
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk Use full-fat for creaminess.
  • as needed Iced Water or Ice Cubes Serve with ice to keep cool.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients including rice, almonds, water, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Soak the rice and almonds in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Blend the soaked rice and almonds with 4 cups of fresh water until finely ground.
  4. Strain the blended mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
