hobo dinner foil packets

Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
Vegetables
  • 2 cups baby potatoes halved
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup green beans trimmed
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Other
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Preheat the grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the halved baby potatoes, sliced carrots, green beans, and onion to the bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
Assemble the Foil Packets
  1. Cut four large pieces of aluminum foil, about 12 inches long.
  2. Divide the beef and vegetable mixture evenly among the foil pieces.
  3. Fold the foil over the mixture and crimp the edges to seal tightly.
Cook the Packets
  1. Place the foil packets on the grill or in the oven.
  2. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  3. Carefully open the packets (steam will escape) and serve hot.
