Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings split at the joints
Marinade
  • 1 cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine hot sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
  2. Remove the wings from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  3. Place the wings on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are crispy and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
