Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft.
Combine and Bake
- In a mixing bowl, combine the navy beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, sautéed onion and garlic, and half of the cooked bacon.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining bacon.
- Cover with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until bubbly and slightly caramelized.
