Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup popcorn kernels (about 16 cups popped)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (dark or white)
  • Candy eyes for decoration

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn kernels using an air popper or stovetop method until fluffy and golden brown. Set aside in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, then stir in mini marshmallows and sugar until gooey.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the popped popcorn and gently stir to coat each kernel.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Grease your hands with butter and form golf ball-sized shapes from the popcorn mix.
  5. Place each ball on parchment paper. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the balls, adding candy eyes while the chocolate is still wet.
  6. Let set for about 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
