  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions (8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in softened cream cheese until smooth. Gently fold in the chopped smoked salmon until warmed through.
  4. Add dill and lemon zest; mix well. Gradually add reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in the skillet until well coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese.
