  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until glossy. Stir in cocoa powder, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. Gently fold in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add one egg and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of the cheesecake mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean but still slightly fudgy. Allow to cool before slicing.
