- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In another bowl, combine honey BBQ sauce with extra spices if desired.
- Grease the crockpot lightly; layer half of the meatballs followed by half of the sauce. Repeat the layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
