Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 brioche burger buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into four patties about 1 inch thick, making a small indentation in the center of each.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, reserving drippings.
- Increase heat to medium-high and sear the patties in bacon drippings for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Top each patty with cheddar cheese during the last minute of cooking; cover to melt.
- Toast brioche buns face down in another skillet until golden brown.
