- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream melted butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture alternating with milk until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, then add half of the cocoa batter on top. Alternate layers and swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
