  • 3 cups Granny Smith apples (peeled and chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in chopped apples and lemon juice into the wet mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. For the crumb topping, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly; sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
