- ¼ cup chives or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 1-inch chunks. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cook until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
- Drain the potatoes thoroughly and return them to the pot. Mash until smooth.
