- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and rinse the cherry tomatoes under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant but not browned.
- Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they soften and burst.
- Combine cooked pasta with the tomato mixture in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed to bind.
